The Great Satan by Ministry | | | I'm reviewing for both Drums and Guitar at the same time here so bare with me.
I just recently went back and looked at all the old Metal songs I skipped, Prong pack and just recently the Ministry pack and I really liked the Drums so I picked them all up. All the songs are incredible just to listen to if you enjoy heavy metal which I do.
I know not a whole lot of people enjoy BASS, BASS, BASS, etc, etc, etc never stopping, but I love it myself. Constant pedal hits, on every note so it's not that hard once you get started. The song itself is rather like Battery but slow enough not to wear you out until around half way through the song.
Good Points - Fast, constant pedals, has some interesting fills within the main chorus.
Bad Points - Repetitive, repetitive, repetitive, and long. It will wear you out.
Fail Points - If your foot can't keep up you will fail the song is mainly constant hits. 2 minutes into the song the drums goes into a strange little fill that can catch you off guard as well.
This song is really good at least for myself to get your foot going and get warmed up, since it is heavy metal it gets you going a little bit as well. Nice average song to get started.
Any highly difficult song with fast hits that I can pass with no main issues gets a 5 star in my books. As for guitar the song has some very annoying chord switches and lots of fast alt-strumming, may not be your cup of tea but I don't mind them too much and someone already mentioned the very difficult solo. |

Black by Pearl Jam | | | This is the only PJ song I will review since I loved every single song and really only didn't like Porch just because it killed me on drums.
Black is by far my favorite PJ song of all time and I really love the drums, not much I can really say, sure it's a little slow at the start but it's a blast to play and it will be my number 1 to play every set. |

Megasus by Megasus | | | :O This song is a blast on Drums absolutely one of my favorites second only to Take the Money and Run. It's one of the songs I play everyday to keep up on rolls and constant pedal hits. The opening of the song just sounds so intense and once the song gets going you feel accomplishment ever roll you hit. |

Take the Money and Run by Steve Miller Band | | | This is my favorite song on Hard Drums by far, great at learning rolls and some minor offbeat bass hits as well, it keeps you busy the whole song and it's a great song period. |

Love Spreads by The Stone Roses | | | Ok so I gave this song a shot and was sorely disappointed, everyone mentioned a amazing guitar chart and blah blah blah but I wasn't impressed not one bit. There are 3 sections, 1 boring repetitive section for a good 3 minutes, 1 decent HO/PO section then repeat that other repetitive section again for 3 more minutes. I don't know what anyone saw in this song sure it's partially difficult but I don't equate difficult with ever being fun unless it is FUN, this was not fun.
The drum chart on Hard was funner than this on Guitar, stop overrating these overblown songs people. |

Headphones On by Miranda Cosgrove | | | Free is free and this time free is really good. I only tried the song once but it gave me some difficulty which I was suprised by, it's a good song to listen to, just ignore that it's a Nick singer it's a really good song. 5star first attempt and I don't mind the song. |

Polly by Nirvana | | | This song is suprisingly difficult, it will help you with your three button chords also. The chord changes throughout the song are not very difficult but they will keep you busy throughout the song.
PS. Don't review it for Drums if you have nothing good to say, I will love 100% this song on Drums over and over again just because I can, :|~ |

Something in the Way by Nirvana | | | Ballad people, ballad, I personally loved this song it's easy but you can make it much more enjoyable by voxtar'ing it.
Slow and steady songs I have always enjoyed, everyone complained when Nevermind never got released then they finally did and everyone hates the slow songs, I find it hilarious. |

Beethoven's C*** by Serj Tankian | | | I love Empty Walls by Serj but this is my second favorite song from his album, while it does have some tricky fast alt strum parts to it, it's an enjoyable song overall. |

They Say by Scars on Broadway | | | Out of the album by SoB this is one of the only really good songs, it has an amazing riff and honestly after you play the game for too long it's a perfect change.
Sure it's easy but a lot of people like easier songs me being one, it's great practice for overdrive activation and this song is very good, hopefully they do get back together because while Serj did an amazing album the others just aren't that good now :) |

Charlene (I'm Right Behind You) by Stephen and the Colberts | | | My favorite song to date not only is it only 1 minute long, a lil shorter, but it's the ok I am bored lets get over that million fan hump here song. Gold Stars on everything free points mhm.
It's also great practice for holding overdrive since gold stars on this song are kinda hard to get so you have to time it just slightly better.
Anyone who rates it bad really just needs to stop rating songs, it's free I don't care if you don't like it, it's free I don't know why so many people don't have it, it's free. You get the point while songs may not be good they are FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE... |
