All the Small Things by Blink-182 | | | I bought this song thinking that my youth group would enjoy playing it. They haven't even gotten to it yet. It's an easy song difficulty-wise; lots of chords with a little variety. I enjoy playing it because the RB mix is really good, sounds way better than the radio version. If you got MS points laying around and looking for something to buy than this would be an okay pickup, not great but simply okay. |

Vital Signs by Rush | | | This is a great song on bass. If you get to play this one, sign up for the bass part. Way better than the guitar part and you get the solo in this song. For all you bass lovers out there this song is a definite buy. Fun times ahead. This is really groovy; not much HO/PO but your hand will be flying around the fretboard during the verses and you'll get a breather during the chorus and towards the end. But I'm sure you'll enjoy it. |

Debaser by The Pixies | | | This is an awesome song to play. It is not difficult but it has an excellent guitar part and is considered by Rolling Stone Magazine to be one of the best guitar songs recorded. If you buy one song off of Doolittle this is the one you get without a question. |

Toxicity by System of a Down | | | I like this song; glad that I got it. There's a good amount of variety in pace and difficulty. Some spots are tough with fast strumming and lots of HO/PO sections and some parts are easy. I wouldn't mind signing up for bass on this one because it would definitely keep me interested in the bassline the whole song. I would recommend getting this song and giving it a try on bass because it is fun. |

YYZ by Rush | | | This song rocks on all instruments, especially bass. You won't be disappointed being the bassist in this band; the parts here are cooler than the guitarist's parts. Lots of HO/PO and you get three cool soloes. Your hand will be flying around the fretboard quickly. Don't leave this for the last song of the night because your fret hand will surrender. I need Star Power to get thru this one on Expert and if I don't get it I fail but it's still an awesome track to play. I recommend getting the whole Moving Pictures album but if you're going to pick & choose songs from there then definitely pick this one up unless you're into singing. |

Charlene (I'm Right Behind You) by Stephen and the Colberts | | | This song deserves more love than it's getting. Sure it's easy (sightread FC) and its short (70-75 seconds?) but there have been more boring, repetitive songs that have gone on for longer than Charlene. This is actually a pretty varied chart for how short it is. And it's funny. And free. I'd strongly suggest getting this ASAP if you haven't already. |

Afterlife by Avenged Sevenfold | | | Great song on bass. The song has some difficult HO/PO sections in the beginning during the verses. Without star power I would fail out during those parts but if you make it thru there then there's smooth sailing ahead in some fun waters. The second solo speeds things up, you'll be alt-strumming, but be glad you get to listen to the guitar part there because you'd be failing if you tried to play that on expert. Overall, I'm glad I picked this song up; I can enjoy the bass part while my friends try to play the guitar part. I wholeheartedly recommend it. |

Police Truck by Dead Kennedys | | | While probably the worst...or make that least awesome of the 3 DKs songs, this song still is very fun. It probably sets a record for most censored song, although the other 2 DKs songs come close. Fun song, fun song to sing, if you like DKs, buy it. |

California Uber Alles by Dead Kennedys | | | As far as the DKs songs go, this is probably the easiest. The only part I had any difficulty was the chorus which was a little higher than I wanted to go. Still, yelling "CALIFORNIA - UBER ALLES" is some of the most fun I've ever had singing in RB. A must if you like great punk or DKs. If not, give it a listen anyway. |

Monkey Wrench by Foo Fighters | | | Good fast song with variety in the notes, my strumming forearm was hurting by the end of the song. Your hand will move up and down the fretboard and there's a nice bass melody during the chorus that's satisfying to play. If I was at a party, I would happily sign up for the bass on this one. I would recommend getting the whole Foo Fighters album but if you only get one song than this is the one you should get. |

Holiday In Cambodia by Dead Kennedys | | | Vocals is where Holiday In Cambodia reigns supreme. All the other instruments are great, but to truly see this song for all it's worth, you have to sing it. It IS a very hard song, and sounds much easier than it is. The verses will challenge you as much as you can imagine, and the choruses are easier, but insanely fun (c'mon, everyone knows this song!). Even though they may be "just talkies," if you don't have fun singing the Pol-Pot breakdown, you're missing the point of playing vox! |

Holiday In Cambodia by Dead Kennedys | | | This song will score you a ton of points. A non-GS sightread got me over 336K. Remember that bass gets to a 12x multiplier under overdrive, and this song's main riff is full of chords. In fact, the first part of every verse has NO single notes. For some reason, chords that would be boring on guitar are interesting and fun when playing bass, and essentially this bassline, aside from the fun chordy sections, follows the also fun guitar line while adding little flourishes here and there. Overall a great bass song. |

Holiday In Cambodia by Dead Kennedys | | | This song is a lot of fun. The fast-strumming into from the version of the song covered in GH3 is gone, but essentially moved into the bridge of this song, where what could very well be a sightread FC will die the second you hit the solo (happened to me). After the solo, you have a pretty long strummed-trill section, much like a slower version of Chop Suey's bass part or the solo of Police Truck (but longer). These sections are odd, in that they're the most aggravating pattern in the game if you can't hit it, but pure joy to play if you can. Overall, this song with no hopo sections or truly unique patterns is strung together with enough verve and vigor to keep you energized and having fun all the way until the end. |

Mica by Mission of Burma | | | I can't say this was the best guitar chart ever, but I thought for a very repetitive song, it's quite fun if you don't mind alt-strumming. The main riff is just a RYB chord played over and over, but in a strumming pattern thats a bit tricky, but not frustratingly so. I'd say the song is mostly forgettable on guitar, meaning not fun enough to raise it above 3 stars, but not bad enough to drop it below 3 stars. The song's funky and cool, in my opinion, but that shouldn't affect my score. |

That's How I Escaped My Certain Fate by Mission of Burma | | | The one phrase I can use to describe all of the Mission of Burma songs would be "punk rock charts, but you know, interesting."
For this song in particular (my favorite of the 3 to listen to), you could characterize the guitar part as "They're Red Hot, Round 2" as the song is short, and full of random fast strumming and equally random chord changes. So far, having played this song 3 times, I've never managed more than ~4.75 stars. It really is hard to hold a combo on. However, having said that, this song is great fun. Breaking combo every other second will frustrate you, so that's why it only gets 4 stars, but when it clicks for you, seeing yourself pull through parts of this song with a 4X is just a great feeling. Overall, definately my favorite MoB song. |

Police Truck by Dead Kennedys | | | to put it bluntly, If you like alt strumming, you will like this song. If you hate alt strumming, you will hate this song. As a fan of mid tempo alt strumming, I enjoyed this song, though its not exactly the kind of song I would play often, its certainly isn't one where i would be unhappy to play in a random setlist. |

Working Man by Rush | | | Rush's biggest song without Neil Peart behind the drumset still manages to be a fun song, thanks to their first drummer, John Rutsey, being a good enough drummer to give this song some life. Expect the main vocal parts to be primarily off-beat-bass thrown prominently into a slower beat on the pads... a nice way to groove along until the song's epic instrumental solo starts.
Because once that begins, the gears--and the drum chart--change to keep up with the faster feel of the section. It's a switch that is fun to make, and is made better with some cool fills thrown in now and then. There are some snare rolls with cymbal hits interspersed that are particularly fun. Then the section breaks down and it's back to the previously-mentioned vocal section for a while... until the slowdown at the ending.
Followed, by a speed-up, and by the single fastest drum roll in all of Rock Band. Don't expect to keep combo here... oh, and it's not all a constant roll, either. It's a good way to close up the song... well, before the Big Rock Ending, at least.
All in all, quite the epic song through and through. However, I have to dock it a star for one reason. You see, in this case it's actually not John Rutsey behind the drums. It's actually some guy who is part of some company Harmonix hired to make covers of songs they couldn't get masters of. And while the cover drummer doesn't do a horrible job, and while this song would have still been plenty worth it before July 2008, now Rock Band offers the master track Working Man (Vault Edition), which does feature the original John Rutsey track, and is just as fun of a chart (and arguably even more so, with a more FC-able ending roll). So if you're just a drummer, there's not really a big reason to go with this one over the Vault Edition. Those who also play guitar, or for whatever reason want both the "original" and the Vault Edition... well, go for it, I say. |

I Fought the Law by The Clash | | | The vocals on I Fought the Law are definitely fun, but they are also most definitely frustrating. I'm no slouch on hard vocals (I've FCed quite a few final tier songs), but I can't even begin to keep a combo here. The pitches change in a fairly awkward fashion, and the words are short, meaning that if you are not on pitch right away, you're not getting any credit.
If you like the song, you'll have fun singing it, but the chart will eventually keep you from coming back. |

Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue | | | Dr. Feelgood is simply great on vocals. The total badassary of the song, combined with its general simplicity creates the perfect storm of fun. There one section of the song that I would describe as "somewhat tricky," though. Towards the end of the song, the chart the backup singers calling out "Dr. Feelgood." It's not as hard of a transition as other songs that change vocalists (e.g. Spoonman), but it can give you a little trouble if you're not expecting it (and why would you considering that the backup singers are there, uncharted, throughout most of the song). |

Attack by 30 Seconds to Mars | | | An average song with a alot of chords. You do strech out and strum a few more singles but then you're back again at the chords. I would recommend The Kill over this one but get both if you're a fan of the band. |

Wonderwall by Oasis | | | The weakest out of all of the Oasis songs for guitar. You play alot chords which last throughout the song. You do branch off to a few hammer-ons and pull-offs as well but it only lasts for a short while and then you're strumming again. Don't let that stop you from buying the song though it is a 90's classic and its great song that everybody would know. |

I Could Have Lied by Red Hot Chili Peppers | | | A pretty cool slower song that is a nice change of pace from the rest of the songs off of BSSM. You do alot of basic stuff since its a low tier song but the acoustic chords add in a nice touch to the song. There are also 2 solos in this song! Thats right 2 solos although not seemingly hard at all they sound really cool when you play through them and it shows that you don't have to be bombarded by skittles to enjoy a solo. |

The Perfect Drug by Nine Inch Nails | | | This is probably the best overall NIN guitar song. The first part of the song has you playing single notes that have your hand moving around the fretboard. Once the chorus hits you play lots of chords, and then the second part gets to be almost a freestyle where you do alot of different stuff. In the end you play slower notes so overall this song was really good fo guitar and unlike the other NIN songs (with the exception of The Hand That Feeds) you are actually playing for almost the whole thing. |

More Than a Feeling by Boston | | | From Track Pack 1, before i got my PS3
The GOOD: 1. Its More than a Feeling. Enough said.
2. Boston is a great band, and they know how to make fun songs, while not always challenging.
3. Very catchy, will make you want to play again
4. Pretty good song for 100% trophy/achievement
The BAD: 1. Its easy
2. Its moderately repetitive
OVERALL: I greatly recommend this song. All of Bostons songs are amazing, and this is one of, if not their best songs of all time. While easy and repetitive, it is still very fun to play and rock out to at the same time. |

Joker & the Thief by Wolfmother | | | Played this on Track Pack 1, before i got my PS3.
The GOOD: 1. Hard song, but manageable, and 5*able
2. Has a solo
The BAD: 1. Moderately repetitive
2. It IS pretty hard, and there are certain parts that are really hard 1-handed, and are still hard to tap(but that is probably because i suck at tapping)
3. Not a very good solo
OVERALL: Not a bad song. I did play this on my PS2, and i have gotten a lot better since then, but my experience with Joker and the Thief was OK. I did play it quite a bit, because there was really not many other good songs, but I think that this is a good buy if you dont know what to buy with $2(or 160 points), and you have that money to spare. |

Siva by Smashing Pumpkins | | | A very fun bass chart that will have your hand moving all around the fretboard. Its not as fast as Hysteria but there is quite enough variation to keep you interested in playing. Even during the quiet part the bass is doing something so you play pretty much for the whole song as well. This is a very underrated bass song in my opinion and then anyone looking for fun but not insane song to play should check this one out. |

Forever by In This Moment | | | This is a good example of a song that's both fun but also offers a modest challenge without becoming overly frustrating. I think it's the sort of song even average drummers can have a good time with yet it has enough variation to stay interesting for seasoned vets. As for the song itself, it's a fairly uptempo number that has a driving rock feel. Overall, I would say it's worth getting for drums, particularly if you enjoy this style of music. |

Tame by The Pixies | | | Wow big tier mishap here this is far from a 4 It really should be down to 0. Anyways this song is a full talky song that you could get if you are still looking for the expert singing achivement. In fact anyone sould 100% this song, its just that easy really. It is pretty fun to yell TAME!! at the top of your lungs though, and its pretty cool to listen to as well. |

My Curse by Killswitch Engage | | | A catchy song that is actually pretty fun for vocals. The only thing that prevents this from being a 5 star rating for me is that during the chorus there is a bit where its half talky half pitch, which detracts a bit of the enjoyment for me. Its surprising at first but if you sing the talky's like the pitch you could get past this with no problems. One of the best for vocals in the Roadrunner Pack though in my opinion. |

Melatonin by Silversun Pickups | | | I actually really like this song it has a sweet sound to it, but unfortuantly the guitar track lacks a little. There are alot of chords and sustained single notes in this song which make it pretty boring to play.
Get this if you're a fan but I would recommend Well Thought Out Twinkles if you really want another Silversun Pickups song in your library. |

Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis | | | This is my favourite out of all of the Oasis songs on guitar. There is just something there that is just so fun, and it seems that everything is charted pretty well also.
There are some chords but there is enough variation to entertain you throughout. The solo is pretty cool as well, as its nothing too hard to make you fail out.
A solid song for guitar |

They Say by Scars on Broadway | | | Still looking for that for the flawless fretwork achivement? If you still don't have it, this an utterly easy song to do so. All you really play are chords which last throughout the whole song.
I would not recommend this song unless you're a fan, you should just get the achievement on another song anyways. |

Aesthetics of Hate by Machine Head | | | A pretty dull vocal that is almost all talkies, except near the end where you have to hold a note for a few seconds.

Dammit by Blink-182 | | | Another great party song from the 90's. This is probably my favourite Blink song and Dude Ranch was my very first album that I purchased when I was younger.

Closer by Lacuna Coil | | | I've never really considered Lacuna Coil to have the most amazing drummer in the world. Playing this song did nothing to change that opinion. I could honestly feel myself slipping into a coma as I pounded out the slow plodding quarter note beat of Closer. There is one little tom-double bass-tom bit that may catch you off guard, but it only happens a couple of times and really isn't anything to worry about at all unless you are totally incompetent on drums. |

Charlene (I'm Right Behind You) by Stephen and the Colberts | | | Obviously, the lyrics are what make this song. When you move beyond that, there are not many redeeming qualities to the actual vocals. It's just a short slow, predictable melody with one mildly tricky phrase. It can still be a fun quicky, especially if you are in a particularly stalkeresque mood. |

Cream and Bastards Rise by Harvey Danger | | | This is an instant classic for Rock Band vocals. It contains (probably) the most dynamic octave shifting ever in a song, requiring a very good control over ones pitch. The verses, the choruses, and the bridge are all over the place, but in a very good way that not only sounds good, but is just flat out fun to play. This is an absolute MUST have vocal DLC that is probably one of the top 5 vocals ever in Rock Band with a wonderful mix of difficulty and fun. |

Love Spreads by The Stone Roses | | | This song is completely awesome. The vocals are not too shabby. Much like the song itself, the vocals have kind of a psychadelica-bluesy mid 70's feel. Overall it presents a decent challenge on the first few runs with solid lyrics and a super catchy melody, but its one and only real drawback is the Police-like ending where "Let put you in the picture, let me show you what I mean. The messiah is my sister..." is repeated a lot. It speaks volumes to how awesome this song is that I still rate it a "great" after that ending. |

Holiday In Cambodia by Dead Kennedys | | | This song is the reason I bought the whole pack so maybe Im a bit bias. There are a lot of chords, and enough not chord parts to make it not really chord fest. Plus there's a very fast strumming solo. If you enjoy the song youll probably enjoy playing it. If you dont, you will probably find it annoying. |

That's When I Reach For My Revolver by Mission of Burma | | | I've never heard of MoB before but I had heard Moby's remix of this song and I was suprised by how much I enjoyed it. It's mostly chords with a few single quick notes thrown in, but the chord variety is good and it keeps your hands moving. If you like the song, I would reccomend picking this one up. |

That's When I Reach For My Revolver by Mission of Burma | | | This one is a good example of a song that isn't terribly difficult yet still very fun on drums. Although it does occasionally keep a fairly normal beat, there are enough change ups, fills and other randomness to keep it interesting. If you are a drummer, you really should buy the whole Mission of Burma 3-pack. It's well worth it! |

That's How I Escaped My Certain Fate by Mission of Burma | | | Like the other Mission of Burma tracks, this one is has a lot of variety and is very fun to play.
